can this product be installed on a 5 1/2 bed. reese has RP56034-53 which can be used on 8,6, and 5 1/2 beds so wondering if this curt product can as well? truck is 2017 f150, thanks,

You'd have to go with the custom Reese kit part # RP50087-58 for a confirmed fit for your 2017 Ford F-150 with a 5-1/2 foot bed as the Curt has not been confirmed as a fit at this time.
Or if you only need the brackets part # RP50087 but you should note these have to attach to a Reese rail.
