Double-Sided Tape Not Holding on Backup Camera Monitor to Dash on 2011 Nissan Frontier

I installed the camera in a 2011 Frontier and the double-sided tape was too weak to hold the camera. I went to the office supply store and bought some double sided tape and it didnt work either. I made sure to clean the dash with alcohol before sticking it on. I noticed that the tape wasnt very sticky from the startmaybe a bad batch of tape? Any suggestions of what I could use to stick it to the dash?
