Question:
How does one lower antennae for Chevy Cruze 2012 Model? Recently purchased this vehicle and did not have instruction manual. All that I have is mounted antennae on cars rear roof. Do I need some additional equipment, and if so, what can I order from your facility?

In order to use the SiriusXM Vehicle Satellite Radio Antenna # R169159 your 2012 Chevy Cruze will need to have a radio that has the Sirius/XM network capability and you would have to have a subscription to that service. Also the radio would need to have a push-on style single input antenna connector.
You can check to see if your car radio has the Sirius/XM feature by pressing the Band button. It will cycle through AM, FM, and XM (if it has the XM abilities). If it does then you would not need a separate antenna but you would need to contact Sirius/XM to set up a subscription.
Sirius/XM is satellite radio which is not to be confused with HD radio. HD radio does not require a subscription or a special antenna but does require a special radio which you can get anywhere car stereos are sold.
The information on the vehicle's radio is in the owner's manual starting on page 7-12. If you do not have the vehicle owner's manual you can view it online through the Chevrolet website.
