Recommendation for Carrying a Yamaha Zuma 125 Scooter on a Hitch Mounted Carrier
Published 07/01/2011 >
Question:
I have a Yamaha Zuma 125 Scooter. The Zuma 125 is about 200 lbs but it has the rear engine and exhaust on the back side, which sticks out a bit...Would the e98873 be a good setup for this? Thanks.

Theetrailer Motorcycle Carrier # e98873 that you referenced has weight capacity of 500 lbs and you should have no problem carrying your Yamaha Zuma 125 Scooter that weighs 200 lbs with it.
The wheelbase of your scooter is right at 50 inches and the track length of the # e98873 is right at 79 inches. This would allow you help center the weight of your scooter with the extra track length on the carrier, that way you are not putting all of the weight of the scooter onto one side of the carrier.
You will also want to check the tongue weight rating of your vehicle to determine if your vehicle can handle the 200 lbs plus 58 lbs of the # e98873.
I attached a review video for this product as well for you to check out.
