Can I mount this sideways like against a wall?

You can mount the Camco Pop-A-Plate Disposable Plate Dispenser # CAM57001 against the wall, but it may make grabbing plates a little more difficult when your supply starts to get low. Since gravity would naturally pull the plates towards the bottom of the plate dispenser, sitting it on its side may cause the plates to sit at an angle.
We also carry the Camco Stack-A-Plate Non-Slip Plate Holders # CAM43601 if you will be traveling with breakable plates, and the Camco Pop-A-Napkin Dispenser # CAM57041 for easy access to your napkins.
