Can this 3 ft hose replace the old hose that connects to the dump valve on my 86 Bounder?

The RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose Kit for Portable Wastewater Tank # CAM39768 can connect directly to the dump valve on your 1986 Bounder Motorhome. The bayonet connections will allow you to simply twist to lock in place without any other tools needed. I do recommend using sanitation gloves like # CAM40287 anytime you are working with sewer hoses.
