Question:
Hi, I have read different comments about the installation of this product on other vehicles. I wanted to get confirmation on the installation of this one on a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. Is there a video one can watch to see for this vehicle specifically? Is cutting required? Are special tools needed? Thanks

Draw-Tite front-mount hitch # 65064 is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. This hitch offers no-drill installation unlike the other options from Curt, parts # C31069 and # C31012, but some plastic fascia trimming is often required to make room for the receiver tube.
We do not yet have a video showing installation in your specific truck but I linked the written instructions for you. These detail the install process and include a listing of tools needed.
Often front-mount hitches are used for a snow plow like # K2AVAL8219 or a hitch-mount cargo carrier like # C18151 and the weight of such an accessory can mean you might like some front suspension enhancement to help support those loads. The SuperSprings kit # CSS-1168F fits your truck's front coil springs (it fits both 2WD and 4WD) and it installs without drilling or tools. These springs are easy to install and they require no maintenance.
When your front axle is under load from the plow or carrier these helper springs engage to stiffen the front end. But during normal driving (without a load in the hitch) they will not alter your normal ride quality.
