Question:
I purchased a hitch receiver from you guys a few years back for my 2007 Subaru outback. The product number is 87446. Will that unit fit on my new 2015 Subaru Outback?

Expert Reply:
The part 87446 that you referenced was a Hidden Hitch trailer hitch receiver that was replaced with the Draw-Tite part # 75560. I do have a solution for you, but unfortunately your current trailer hitch is not compatible with your 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon.
A similar hitch receiver is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75673 which is a Class III hitch with a 2 inch receiver opening just like what you have. It has a 4,000 lbs gross towing weight rating with a 600 lb tongue weight rating. You will want to check your owner's manual for specific instructions for towing or towing weight limits.
I have attached an installation video on a similar 2015 Outback Wagon for you to reference.
