The 4R100 4-speed automatic transmission in your 2001 Ford F-250 with the 6.8L V10 engine uses 20 M8x1.25" bolts to secure the transmission pan. If you are just looking to clean the treads on the transmission before reinstalling the pan then you would want to use the thread tap included in part # PTW8617 but if the bolt is broken then you would need to drill and tap the threads to the next largest size which is an M10x1.25".
