The Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # RP50066-58 are designed for GM vehicle and will not fit your 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty. For a 5th wheel installation kit that will fit your truck I recommend using the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails (Inboard) part # RP50074-58 or the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails (Outboard) part # RP56017-53.
Inboard installation kits provide a connection point for the base rails and frame brackets inside the frame rail on your truck and outboard installation kits as the name states, provide a connection point for the base rails and frame brackets outside the frame rail on your truck. The outboard kit will be much easier to install than the inboard kit but will be a bit more money.
I spoke to a few of our installation coordinators and they said that the average install time will vary depending on skill level but you will want to allot about 6-8 hours for the inboard installation kit and about 5-7 hours for the outboard installation kit on your 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty.
I have attached a review video for each set of brackets for you as well.
