Question:
I have a 2017 Colorado crew cab and bought the gearon corner stanchions and cross rails from the dealer to carry my 2 kayaks on longer trips. The bolts on the Thule carriers are M6x65 and are not long enough to mount the carrier to the thick gearon cross rails. Some longer carriage bolts would do the job but I cant seem to find them. Before I do a homemade solution, do you have any suggestions? I just bought the Thule carriers and can return them if another carrier would work.

To adapt your Thule Hull-A-Port, part # TH853PRO , to bigger bars, you'll need part # THXADAPT3. This includes 8 longer carriage bolts that will replace your existing bolts.
