Should A-iPower 2,000-Watt Inverter Generator # 289-SUA2000I be Exposed to Rain

Question:
we ordered 2 for our 5th wheel and want to put in the back of our truck. I assume these would have no problem riding back there unprotected but want to make sure. they would be exposed to rain while driving and camping. I could cover while driving but not when operating. thank you

A-iPower states that their generators like the A-iPower 2,000-Watt Inverter Generator # 289-SUA2000I that you referenced should not be exposed to rain, snow or standing water. You'd need to protect it at all times for rain.
