Possible Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Solution for GMC C6500 Truck

Question:
I have a GMC C6500 commercial truck I would like to add a fifth wheel hitch to. I will be pulling a back hoe at 20,600 lbs and I estimate the trailer to be 6,200 lbs. Plus I want to pull a fifth wheel occasionally too. Can you please recommend a fifth wheel hitch? I can weld and add metal to install, but any mounting kit that would make it easier would be appreciated. Thanks!

We don't have any custom rail and bracket kits that are going to fit your truck but you might be able to come up with a way to install the universal rail kit part # RP30035 though. This comes with the standard fifth wheel rails that most hitches are designed to fit and L-brackets to install them.
Only issue I can think of is that the bed of your truck might be higher or lower than a standard truck bed which will make towing a trailer level a challenge.
