Hello! Can you confirm this will work for my truck? I don’t understand what a “classic Silverado” is, which you say it will not work on. As always, thanks for your help and parts!!

For your 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab the part # BL5922987 is a confirmed fit and will work well. The difference between Classic and New body Silverados is a generation change that happened mid-year a couple times but does not affect a 2011 so it wouldn't be something you'd have to worry about.
