My whole is 26 inches wide would the 24 Inch steps work properly with my trailer Door?

I spoke to contact at Lippert Components (LCI) about the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps part # LC678025 and they informed that it would be an exact fit for you as long as your doorway opening is indeed 26" wide. The SolidStep has a height adjustment from 35" to 44" with a 400 lb weight capacity. The steps come pre-assembled and ready to install.
