Can RV Water Tank Heating Pads be Used on Black and Gray Water Tanks

All your references are for fresh water tanks. i want to protect my black and gray tanks in my motor home. is there any reason this heater wouldnt work?

There's nothing stopping you from using a Holding Tank Heater Pad such as # 277-000164 on black or gray water tanks. However with the black water tank adding a heat source could create excess gases which could be a potential problem.

We've had this question before and the manufacturer of the ThermaHeat #277-000164 that you referenced has stated that it's okay to insulate over the heating pad.
