Replacement Screws Needed to Install Dual Cams on the Reese Strait-Line
Updated 10/30/2017 | Published 10/29/2017 >
Question:
I need to replace the self threading bolts that hold the cams bracket to the trailer frame. I looked at the installation sheets and I thing they are part 58459. The description for that part number when I am searching for them says that they are for the snap up bracket. Are these the bolts I need for the cam mounting brackets? Thank you.

The Replacement Thread Forming Screw # 58459 that you referenced is what is used to hold the cams for a Weight Distribution (WD) system like the Reese Strait-Line # RP66084 . If you need more than 2 and you would like some spare parts you could go with part # 58437 instead which has 8 of them.
These screws install on your trailer frame with the Rivet Nuts for Reese Dual Cam High Performance Weight Distribution # RP58507. They are not self-tapping. You can see this process done starting at about the 16 minute mark on the attached installation video.
