Does Trailer with Titan 10 Actuator Need Brake Controller to Activate Trailer Brakes

Question:
Can I use item A75TB with the above mentioned trailer? I am assuming this will supply power to the trailer brakes. Currently when backing up, the brakes on the trailer engage as a safety feature I am guessing. Short story. I just got the trailer and where I am located, we are not required to have lights while towing so the trailer was only mechanically connected to move the boat. If the trailer is connected electrically with the item mentioned, will this solve my issue or will I need to install the brake controller? Regards,

If you have a Titan Model 10 actuator installed on your trailer the brakes will be controlled totally by that and would not need a brake controller at all.
The 7-way to 5-way adapter part # A75TB would still be what you need though as it will allow you to control the taillights of the trailer plus the reverse lock out solenoid of the actuator. This allows the trailer the ability to back up without the brakes applying.
