What is Outside Diameter of Orange Fitting on RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose Kit # CAM39768

Question:
Im wondering what the outside diameter of the orange fitting is. Cant measure it, cause RV is in the shop, but wanted to see if I could build in a pvc pipe storage system under the rig, and other folks have said the commercially supply pipes with end caps, dont work because it doesnt clear the orange fitting. Perhaps if I can get that dimension, I can build my own storage tube that accepts it!

I went out to the warehouse to take a look at the RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose Kit # CAM39768 referenced in your question. The outside diameter of the orange fitting measures right at 4 inches. The Bayonet fitting itself (inner diameter) measures 3 inches.
This is a very nice sewer hose kit that features a translucent elbow fitting and UV-Stabilized resin fittings that will allow for a long life. The hose itself measures 15-1/2 inches when retracted and 3 feet when extended.

Your measurement is somewhat misleading. The true out side diameter is 4.5 inches. You failed to take in account the two small tabs on the orange fitting. The only reason I know this is my new 2020 Forest River Forester has a 4 inch in diameter storage for the sewer hoses. The Rino flex will not go into the storage hose. Now its back to the dealer.
