Would a Thule Doubletrack Work on a 2001 Jetta with a Hidden Hitch # 60963

Question:
Hello- I am looking to purchase the Hidden Hitch #60963 for my 2001 Jetta. I am planning on using this hitch with the Thule Doubletrack 990XT. While this bike rack work with a hidden hitch? I am concerned about the receiver lock working with this style hitch? And the length of the tube that goes into the receiver. Any help would be appreciated.

The Draw Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver with Drawbar, part # 24748, would be a good choice for your 2001 Volkswagen Jetta. I attached installation instructions and an installation video for this product for you to check out.
Also, the Thule Doubletrack Platform-Style 2 Bike Carrier will work with # 24748. The Snug Tite receiver lock that is on the bike rack will work well on the # 60963 as well. I attached installation instructions for this product as well.
