Question:
The Haul Master Trailer I plan to tow with my 2010 Ford Fusion has a level hitch height of 19 3/4 inches. A Draw-Tite 24865 has an installed receiver heighth of 11 3/4 inches. It would seem a ball mount with a 4inch rise would not work well. What are my alternatives?

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # 24865, the best I have to offer is the Curt Class I # C45024 that has a 5 rise and is 9-9/16 long. This will get you to 17-1/4 inches and give you the clearance needed from your bumper as well. This will put your trailer about 2.5 inches down on the tongue.
I recommend the # 19258 for a 2 inch diameter ball or the # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
You will want to make sure that your trailer weight is compatible with the towing capacity of your vehicle that can be discerned using the owners manual.
