Question:
2006 Pontiac G6 Will this be strong enough to tow 1 jet ski?

Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch, # 12333, is a class II hitch rated for 350 pounds of tongue weight and 3,500 pounds of gross trailer weight. As long as your trailer and jet ski do not exceed that, and the 2006 Pontiac G6 has a high enough towing capacity, it will be strong enough for your application.
You can find the towing capacities of the vehicle by looking in the owners manual. If the vehicle and hitch have different towing capacities, go by the lower rating of the two. I have included a link to the installation details of this hitch for you to view.
The hitch comes with a ball mount, pin and clip. To complete your towing set up you will need a properly sized ball. You can use # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, you will need Curt Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector # C56013. I have included a link to the wiring instructions as well.
