Operation of AC Unit and Other Outlet From 2000 Watt Portable Generator

Question:
Im looking to add an exterior plug in the side of my utility trailer feed to a couple 20amp interior plugs to run a space heater for the winter and a small probable ac unit for the summer example 10000btu . Our power source would be a 2000 watt portable generator . My question is would a 20amp exterior plug be sufficient to handle the job to provide power to the 2 interior 20 amp plugs for ac and lighting at its most extreme use at one time ? Thx for your time

We don't carry any 20 amp power inlets. I recommend you upgrade to the Epicord 30 Amp Twist Lock Power Inlet - White # 277-000137 or black # 277-000138. This will work well with a 2000 watt generator like the A-iPower 2,000-Watt Inverter Generator w/ Parallel Kit - Senci Motor - Portable - Gas - 120V # 289-SUA2000I. This combination will allow you to run the interior plugs but not at their max simultaneously. You would need to consider adding the second generator in parallel # 289-SUA2000I-2 to give you max capacity from both plugs.
