Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2010 Ford F-250 Short Bed

Question:
I would appreciate info on the best hitch to install for a F350 crew cab 6.5foot bed. I would be hauling a 13k fifth wheel. Dealer wants to put in a anderson3200 but I lean towards the traditional and probably should get it done myself prior to picking up. Thank you

For a short bed truck I would not recommend an Andersen setup since you won't be able to get the additional clearance needed to make a tight turn like what you can do with a slider hitch.
I really like the Reese 16k slider part # RP30047 which would be a great choice for your truck. It's got a cushioned head and a jaw design that will provide 360 degrees of contact. Then for a rail kit I'd recommend going with a custom install kit like part # RP50082-58 as it will install easier and faster than universal rail designs.
