Dimensions of the Replacement Offset Snap Studs for Extang Tonneau Covers Part # EX7128

Question:

First of all these would NOT be for a tonneau cover, they would be for a replace tarp I am making for a 1968 Apache tent camper. The tonneau snaps look very much like what I am needing however I can not find measurements. Wondering if you have any that are able to snap onto a 7/16 rail.

I went out to our warehouse and measured the Replacement Offset Snap Studs for Extang Classic Platinum Tonneau Covers part # EX7128 for you. The dimension of the clip are as follows: 3/4" long x 1/2" wide. The snap itself is 1/4" in diameter.

Unfortunately, Extang only states that the replacement straps will work with their base rails and were not able to confirm compatibility across different platforms or whether or not it will work with a 7/16" rail.
