Question:
Hello there, I was curious if there was a product like a manual wheelchair rack that could be attached to the back of my 2006 VW Beetle without too much difficulty? It is not a convertible so that should help. Thanks!

In order to attach a cargo carrier to your 2006 VW Beetle, you would first need to install a hitch. The compatible hitch I recommend is the Draw-Tite # 24679 because you won't be required to use stabilizing straps like you would with a cargo carrier when using the Curt hitch.
There are cargo carriers that are going to work for your '06 Beetle, but please keep in mind both of the hitches that fit your car are Class I rated and have 1-1/4" receivers, which unfortunately rules out the use of a carrier with a ramp; those all require at least Class III rated hitches.
The carrier I highly recommend you take a look at the Curt # C18110 which has dimensions of 47-11/16" long x 19-1/2" wide and will work with a 1-1/4" hitch. You could then use cords such as # EM06736, # EM06624 or # EM06623 to secure your cargo.
I've included to video reviews of each of these products for you to check out.
