I would like to confirm that the trailer hitch model # e78KR will fit my 2008 Honda Element SC.

Unfortunately, the etrailer 2-inch Class III hitch # e78KR is a not a confirmed fit on your 2008 Honda Element SC, as it only fits non-SC versions too.
The only hitch that we offer for your Element SC is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit # C11699. This is a Class I hitch which has a 1-1/4" receiver opening. This hitch has a 200-pound maximum tongue weight and a 2,000-pound max gross trailer weight capacity.
