Will THE HITCH # 24880 FIT ON A 2017 VW PASSAT R-LINE?

We have a hitch that is confirmed to fit for the 2017 Volkswagen Passat R-Line, but the Draw-Tite Hitch # 24880 is not confirmed to fit this model Passat.
Curt shows the Curt Trailer Hitch Class I, # C11234, as a conformed fit for the VW Passat R-Line. This hitch is a Class I hitch with the 1-1/4 receiver opening. The hitch has a maximum tongue weight rating of 200 lbs.
Note: All non-trailer loads - bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth - should be supported with stabilizing straps, like # 18050. Failure to properly support these loads will void your hitch warranty from Curt.
