Will Bulldog Powered A-Frame Jack BD500200 Work Well To Replace 2,000 lb Trailer Jack

Question:
Good morning, I am looking to purchase an electric trailer jack. Specifically the Bulldog Powered Drive Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 14inch Lift - 4,000 lbs - Black. My question is this item will work on my trailer which is a Large 14foot double axle. GVWR 3500lbs. The existing jack is rated at 3000lbs static, 2000 lift capacity. The mounting plated is triangler in shape with three bolts. The A Frame is marked as a Leopsid model 100206, ball size 2 5/16, GTW 4000lbs. So, will this bulldog model work on this trailer... Thanks so much... PS, love your emails on tip and products...

The Bulldog Powered Drive Trailer Jack # BD500200 that you referenced will work great on your trailer. It has a higher lifting capacity than your current jack and would have no problem lifting your trailer's tongue weight. If your trailer weighs 3,500 lbs that means the tongue weight is around 350 lbs. This jack has a 4,000 lb tongue weight capacity so it would barely notice your trailers's tongue weight.
It also is designed to attach to the same 3 bolt mounting flange that your trailer currently has so it would work well in that regard too.
