Question:
I purchased 56011-53 and the rails are too wide for my hitch. My hitch is RBW lil rocker lr-1000. Are these rails made wrong or what is different on these rails. I searched on here and others have installed Reese rails that fit their lil rocker hitches. Not specifically for this kit.

The only things that are different between the rails in kit # RP56011-53 and the regular rails is that the -53 rails are longer overall and the tops are a bit wider. The spacing for the hitch feet is still the same. There are 3 sets of mounting slots. The inner set is 10 inches apart on center, the middle set is 20-1/2 inches apart on center, and the outer set is 29 inches apart on center. Front to back they should be 22 inches apart on center.
The other difference is the width. The top, raised part on the -53 rails is wider than it is on the other rails. But the only thing that should affect are the pins that hold the hitch to the rails. It is possible you will need longer ones such as # C16902 which have a useable span of 3-1/2 inches.
If there is another issue that is causing fit problems let me know and also, if possible, email me some pictures that show the problem areas.
