Do you have to drill holes in tail gate.

Yes. The Rampage Replacement Soft Top for Ford Bronco - Tinted Windows - Black Crush # RA98401 does require drilling into the side of the bedrails and the tailgate to install. I've attached the instructions for you. The tailgate uses different mounts, and requires drilling 1/8 inch holes for sheet metal screws.
