I have a 1984 Vw Rabbit 4 door. I would like a low profile rack system for a bicycle. Can the Inno INLD work? How long would the crossbars have to be? I dont want them to hang past the sides of the car. Thanks in advance for your help

We do have roof racks for your 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit but the Inno Feet # INLD are not a confirmed fit.
All of the racks to fit the VW will extend past the feet. The system with the shortest bars is the Yakima using 48 inch Round Bars # Y00408 and Towers # Y00101.
The Yakima FrontLoader # Y02103 fits great onto the crossbars. It holds the bike by the wheels so there's no need to remove the front wheel. It also includes a bike lock.
