For your 2013 Chevy Tahoe ltz, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. This is a proportional controller meaning the trailer brakes will be applied to your trailer at the same time and with the same intensity as you hit the brake pedal in your Tahoe. This brake controller has a really nice LCD screen that allows you the convenience of diagnostics and function at a quick glance. There is no code deciphering like other controllers. It is easy to use and has 3 levels of boost as well as other adjustability to customize your driving experience.
No plug is present under the dash, but the needed wires are already run. You will connect the brake controller wiring with the vehicle wiring already present under the dash. I've attached a video and an article to assist.
