Installing A Brake Controller In 2013 Chevy Silverado

Question:
I cannot find my factory wiring harness for 2013 Chevy Silverado I would like to hook up my 47294 brake controller and do I need an adapter.

On your 2013 Chevy Silverado, no plug is present under the dash, but the needed wires are already run. You will connect the brake controller wiring with the vehicle wiring already present under the dash.
To attach your Hopkins Agility Trailer Brake Controller - Plug In - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # HM47294, you will simply hardwire the pigtail. I recommend using the Universal Wiring Adapter for Hopkins Trailer Brake Controllers # HM47685 to give you the quick connects and keep you from cutting the quick connector. If you have the # HM47295, then you can simply hardwire it.
