Question:

My Frontier pickup has 2 aluminum channels that span the length of the floor. How will this affect the fit of the bed mat?

The aluminum channels in your bed will not effect the fit of a bed mat. The mats like the DeeZee Custom-Fit Truck Bed Mat # DZ86965 for 6 foot bed will be custom shaped to make sure there is grip and coverage. If the aluminum channels are aftermarket and raised, then the bed liner will lay over them and may not reach into the molded sides as far, but it still won't be a deal breaker for the functionality of the mat.

If you have a 5 foot bed, The DeeZee mat can be trimmed to fit.
