If the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series roof rack you have for your 2009 Scion xB has the Euro-style square bars, # RREB137B, then the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box - Roof Mount - 18 cu ft - Black Item # SR7018 will fit for sure. If you have the Vortex bars, # RRVA137B-2, then it will likely fit though it will be a little tight and you may have to move the position of one of the crossbars a smidge.
