Lock Removal Tips for Thule Force L Cargo Box

Question:
I have a Thule L roof box. My locks jammed up so I got some new ones. Thinking I could do this by following your instructions here, I attempted it. My box has a lock cover though, so when I place the universal key inside, I cant get to the lock to pry it out. Tilting the box on its side and shaking the box doesnt work either. Is there an easy way to do it. My box is less than a year old if that helps.

What you'll need to do is insert the key and then use a small flat screwdriver (or any tool similar) to allow you to pry up gently on the lock core to get it to release.
