Question:
Which hitch do you recommend for a Hyundai Santa Fe 2010?

Expert Reply:
If your 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe doesn't have a dual exhaust I recommend going with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75684. It has a 2 inch hitch receiver which means you can utilize more accessories than if you had a 1-1/4 inch receiver. This has a Tongue Weight (TW) weight capacity of 350 lbs and a Gross Towing Weight (GTW) of 3,500 lbs. If you use Weight distribution with it then those capacities are bumped up to 500 lbs TW and 5,000 lbs GTW.
If your Santa Fe does have the dual exhaust then I recommend going with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13073 which has the same weight capacities except they are not increased with a Weight Distribution system.
The reason that I recommend the Draw-Tite over the Curt is that the Curt hitch receiver requires that a Support Strap # 18050 be used for any non-trailer loads such as a bike rack or cargo carrier per the Curt warranty.
If you let me know what you will be using the hitch for (bike rack, cargo carrier, towing, etc,... I can make some recommendations for you.
I have also linked installation videos of each hitch being installed on a 2010 Santa Fe for you to check out.
