Can Backup Sensors be Disabled or Removed from Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera HM50002

Question:
I am looking at the Hopkins HM50002 backup camera system for install on a 2008 F350. I like the easy install of this model. Do they make a similar model that does not have the backup sensors or can this model be installed without them? The reason I ask is my truck already has backup sensors so I dont need a second set beeping at me. Thanks.

The Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System Item # HM50002 has a volume button on the monitor that you can use to mute the alert from the backup sensors. This is the best option since there isn't a version that does not have the sensors but that also plugs in line with the 7-Way trailer connector on your 2008 Ford F-350.
