Could I change the light pattern manually without the wireless controller since mine is faulty?

I called my contact at Prostrobe and asked about the # PRS70780. They told me there is no manual settings to change the light pattern. They said it sounds like you may need to re-sync the remote to the system and that is really pretty simple.

They said to plug the remote in but make sure it is turned off. Then open the hood of the vehicle and on the module under the hood there is a small clear button on the side. Push the button until it turns solid red. Then within one minute turn the remote back on and it should re-sync and work for you.

Can I bypass the remote and run them off of a toggle switch

The only way the # PRS70780 strobe lights can operate is with the provided remote. We do have another kit available that comes with a toggle switch # 09-80005. I like this kit more because it will have cleaner install and it's going to more convenient to operate.
