Expert Reply:
When people replace wiring that is run inside a channel or frame they will attach the new wiring to the end of the wire they want to replace and pull it carefully from the other end. If you are unable to pull the wire, you can use a fish wire to try and run the wiring through the frame. This can be tough depending on the frame or channel.
Another method is to run new wiring on the outside of the trailer frame. You can use a wire loom to protect the wires from being damaged. Or you cold cut the wiring that you can visually see and replace it with spliced wiring. I have attached a link to the wiring we offer for trailers.
I have also attached a link to the wire looms and clamps we offer. The wire loom clamps are also on the product page. You will want to secure the loom with the wiring with the clamps. You want to make sure you keep the wiring away form moving parts or sharp edges.
