Dimensions of SportRack Locking Knob

Question:

Could you tell me what the dimensions of the threaded section of the knob are for the Locking Knob p/n SR0018? The ad says 8inch long x 1/2-13. I think that may be a misprint. Most knobs used in these applications have a # 18 pitch thread and are approx 2inch long. Could you please check and advise. Thank You - Ron Strack
