I have a 1995 Ford F150 Flareside w/o the tow package. I am wanting to pull a light trailer no brakes and have the hitch installed. In reviewing the wiring on my truck, I have a round 4 pin taillight wiring harness. I am trying to identify an adapter or other solution that I can use to connect with a flat four pin trailer harness. Can you help? Thanks!

You have 3 options for connecting your trailer with a 4-Way flat connector to your F-150 with 4-Way Round connector.
Probably the best way to go in the long run, would be to use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, item # 118316, to install a 4-Way Flat connector on your truck and eliminate the 4-Way round connector. I have included installation instructions for this harness for you to review. This will allow you to tow your trailer with a direct connection to the truck.
The second option would be to install a 4-Way Flat vehicle end connector, item # 118001, on your truck. This would also allow you to tow your trailer with a direct connection to the truck. Using a circuit tester, item # 3808 if needed, to determine the wire functions, you would splice the wires from the existing 4-Way round connector, eliminating it, to the wires on the new 4-Way flat connector.
The Final option, would be to create an adapter that will allow you to connect your trailer to your truck. You would need the 4-Way round trailer connector, item # PK11409, and the 4-Way Flat vehicle end connector, item # 118001, to create the adapter needed. Using a circuit tester, connect the wires from the # 118001 connector to the terminals inside the # PK11409 connector. This would be the best option if you have a trailer with a 4-Way round connector as well as a trailer with a 4-Way flat connector.
