I have a boat lift with a Fulton 945 winch that does not unwind. I need to repair or replace it. What would I need for either of these options?

I spoke with Fulton and parts are no longer available for the Fulton 945. That's a pretty old winch.
For a new similar replacement they suggest # F143100. A 1,500 pound capacity winch that's designed to be used in marine applications.
