The Bargman triple taillight # 47-84-005 has to be hardwired in but really it is pretty straight forward. All you will need to do is identify the functions of the wires on your 2005 GMC Sierra using a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 or a meter if you have one. Have someone sit in the truck and operate the various light functions while you test the wires to identify them.
Then all you will need to do is splice in the taillight wires to the correct truck wires using the color/function codes described on the back of the light. I recommend using heat shrink butt connectors, # DW05744-10 for 10, to splice into the vehicle wiring in order to keep out moisture.
