Question:

help!! I have the Atwood Power jack #80515. Do I need to grease anything, and if so, how do I. Is there any other maintenance needed? Mine is on a 2004 trailer, and I would like to take all precautions to make sure it lasts a long time. THANK YOU

There are some maintenance and care steps for all Atwood Powered Jacks including # 80515 and # AT80718 that you have referenced. According to Atwood, before each use, inspect the jack tubes and replace if bent or damaged. If wiring is connected to battery terminal, inspect at least twice each year for corrosion. Clean with a solution of baking soda and water, then apply a thin coat of grease.

NOTE: The motor ground screw and mounting bolts must be cleaned too if a ground continuity problem occurs. Once each year, extend the jack as far as possible and clean the inner ram tube. Coat tube with a light coat of silicone spray lubricant. The Electric Drive Motor Landing Leg system is protected by a 30 amp fuse. If replacement is necessary, replace only with a Buss Type AGC-30 fuse or equivalent, available in automotive supply stores.

We have numerous greases available. I have included a link to the options for you to view.
