What color is the wire for the tail lights on a 2016 GLE 350? My brake and turn signals work, but the tail lights are messed up.

If you purchased the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT then you will want to use the provided circuit tester to find out which wire it is on your 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 that runs your tail lights. Unfortunately what can sometimes happen is that the manufacturer might run out of a certain color of wiring and so they grab whatever they can to finish the job. The result is that owners are left to figure it out.
It is really easy to find out which wire it is. Just use the circuit tester to test the different wires while a buddy operates the different lighting functions. If you managed to misplace the circuit tester you can purchase one from us using part # PTW2992.
If you find out that you have the tail light wire for your trailer connected to the correct function on your GLE 350 just let me know and I can help you troubleshoot further.
