The Pullrite 2900 is designed for industry standard 5th wheel rails. That means that the adapter part # RP30156 would be all that you would need to install the hitch in the bed of your 2017 Ford F-350 with the hitch prep package.

This adapter fits the rail package of your truck bed and gives you the needed rails to install a fifth wheel hitch.

Of course! As long as you have industry-standard base rails installed in the bed the PullRite 2900 will work well on your F-150. If you don't yet have bed rails I recommend the Reese Custom Kit # RP50081-58.

@ChrisR I am getting mixed signals from your website. There are others on here that say 5 1/2’ beds will not work well with pullrite and we need the sidewinder box pin. Is this true or not.. YOu guys are giving out mixed signals. TX

If you have a 5.5 foot bed the safest way to pull a 5th wheel, with what we have, is with a standard 5th wheel hitch and a rotating turret. That's going to be the only way to get the most clearance. I can't speak for pullrite, I do know that people who use a rotating turret have great success with short bed trucks.
