Question:

I have connected the brake control adapter to a 2015 chevy Silverado 1500 but no power to black wire when I turn the key on red wire works could it be a fuse

This is an occasional problem with the 2015 Chevy 1500 Silverados. There are a couple connections that need to be made under the hood of your truck to allow the controller to get power. If you check out the link I attached you can see what needs to be ran.
