T-One Trailer Wiring Harness Installation Location on 2012 Ford Explorer

Question:
The wiring and plug I have on my 2012 ford explore looks nothing like what is on the video. What I have is a single female plug that isnt attached to anything. Its located behind the rear passenger tire close to the muffler so its the same location as what is on you video but a T harness wont fit it. Can you help? Im confused as to what I need to do next. Thanks!

Thank you for the photo of the connector you found on your 2012 Ford Explorer near the muffler on the passenger side.
This is the correct trailer wiring connection point for an item like # 118540; you just need to remove its protective cover to get to the actual connector.
